Job defends himself, one last time. And then, a young man named Elihu pipes up, out of nowhere, taking on Job’s friends and their arguments, even taking on Job and his arguments. And, the Apostle Paul begins his letter to the Galatians.

Job speaks of true wisdom and understanding. Job remembers the best of days and laments that those days are gone, and that these days are the worst. And, Paul concludes his second letter to the Corinthians with some final exhortations.

Then Bildad spoke again. Then Job spoke again. Round and round we go on this roundabout of futile friendship, as all four continue to offer up their theories on the reasons why Job is suffering. And, Paul continues to review his resume to the Corinthians.

Eliphaz has to invent accusations against Job to support his theory that Job’s suffering has to do with Job’s sin. Job still wants to have an audience with God to argue all of this out. And, Paul the Apostle reluctantly gives us his resume.

Job spouts off for the sixth time, in response to Eliphaz. Zophar responds to Job, saying “The wicked will be judged Job.” And Job says, “Not from what I can see. It’s me that I’m worried about.” And, Paul speaks of spiritual warfare and authority.
